China Experiences
There are 50 independent countries in Asia with the most visited country being China. Walk or bike a section of the massive Great Wall of China which was originally constructed in 1368.
While in Beijing, be sure to visit the Temple of Heaven where prayers were made to heaven for a good a harvest. Another point of interest is the Forbidden City – which was the imperial palace from 1420 until 1912 where the emperors lived and conducted governmental business.
Amazing Thailand
After China, Thailand, India and Malaysia are the most visited countries of Asia. On a recent visit to Thailand, I experienced the large city of Bangkok featuring many ancient temples, the beauty and relaxation of the beaches to the south, and also had the unique experience of spending an overnight at an elephant refuge where these rescued animals will spend the rest of their life being cared for in a natural environment.
